Experience barefoot elegance on aruba's white sandy beaches!

We have been coming to Aruba since 1978 when the Island was quite different from what you see now. There were only a few stores on the island. The major hotel was The Talk of the Town located by the Airport where you deplaned on the tarmac and were greeted by Arubans in Carnivale dress who would welcome you and presented the Ladies with flowers. The Talk of the Town was just recently purchased by IHG Hotels and has undergone extensive renovations.

There was no meats per say available in any great quantity and/or quality. We would pack a 50lb cooler and travel with meats from home. The major canned good store was Pic & Pay which later became Certified. All the canned goods were on pallets and boxed. They would give you a box cutter and you had to sift through case after case to locate whatever you wanted to purchase.

Divi was comprised of only the Casitas, which still remain. They were single roomed units with 2 units per building, much as they are today. They housed a king bed, small refrigerator, & bathroom facilities with shower; modest, but adequate. You basically stepped out of the unit and you were on an empty and expansive beach. The same number of units that are still there today was the extent of Divi Resorts.

Dutch Village was the first Divi Timeshare that was constructed in the Mid-1980's.

We soon purchased a contract for 3 weeks through Divi. We later upgraded to Divi Village in the early 90's where are ownership increase to 3 solid months. Over the years, our immediate and extended family frequently visited us during these times. Our 40 year contracts were approaching their conclusion in 2023. I was 72 at the time and looking forward to more than a few more years in Aruba. Our family was in a bit of a panic with "no Aruba" on the horizon!?!

Divi made us an offer we couldn't refuse. Our contract now extends for 40 plus years with an easy renewal provision for another 40 years. This will insure our children and grandchildren as well as our extended family vacations well into their later years.

We have since become the largest owners who actively rent.

We our leaving this entity to our family as a legacy.

All the proceeds go to our grandchildren.

We would like to personally thank you for your support!
